I’m Taylor Duffield, started in Chicago with a detour to Minnesota and now proudly serving Plainfield area clients.

As a professional who also strives to be the best version of themselves, I know exactly how looking good impacts feeling good and performing my best. I’ve designed my experience in a way that will leave you feeling heard, relaxed and more confident than you ever felt before.

I’ve been a men’s grooming specialist for 13 years and have never been more in love with the business or my craft. I specialize in precision haircutting and take great pride in working with American Crew to share these skills with others.

While most stylists offer a great first visit and solid maintenance care thereafter, I see myself a bit different. From the moment you decide to schedule your appointment until the moment you leave the salon, I make your experience as relaxing and effortless as possible. No small detail goes unnoticed. I’ll be checking in over time to see if any new issues have come up and we’ll work through them together.

Outside of work, you can find me wandering around finding the joys in life. One evening you might find me at my niece’s or nephew’s school concert, and the next you might find me at the driving range or at Krema Coffee House trying to find the best place to stop in the last book recommendation I received. My heart is home to Randy, my boisterous Aussiedoodle. My days wouldn’t be complete without our morning walk and constant butt scratches that he requires. One thing is for sure, when they say, “An object in motion stays in motion,” that is me to a T.
